A Year has gone by --- Since June 6th, 2022 --- STILL MISSING!!!
Our 30 year old son, Cornelis Frederik Bokslag, nicknamed Casey is missing from The Salt Lake City area and we need your help to get him home safe!!! We are looking for info from anyone who has seen Casey or his car since Monday June 6th,2022 or had recent communications with him directly so we can get him home safe!
Casey is 6’2” tall and weighs about 140 LB. His hair is blond and his eyes are gray. He currently has a goatee as seen in the picture with the sunglasses on. He is usually dressed in long green Wrangler cargo pants, a T-shirt and military boots or sneakers. He usually wears a cap.

He was last seen on camera near his apartment on 3808 South West Temple in South Salt Lake City, UT on Monday June, 6th 2022, at 11:40. At that time he might have been heading to his place of work at the Salt Lake City Watershed located at 1530 South West Temple. His car, a 2012 silver Suzuki SX4, was found on a remote road at the Castle Rock exit of I80 in Summit County, Utah, on Wednesday June 8th. The white skier/snow/life elevated license plates (E068FE) were removed when the car was found.The license plates have not been recovered.
Casey always carries his phone(GOOGLE PIXEL 3 with a black rugged case) and his MULTITOOL (a GERBER) with him, but neither of those have been located. His phone was last pinged by a cell phone tower located approximately at 2100 South and 300 West in Salt Lake City, UT on Monday morning June 6th, 2022.
If you have found any of the following items please contact the police as soon as possible:
- A key chain with a Suzuki car key and 2 house door keys as well as numerous different keys pertaining to his work for opening gates and buildings. On the keychain are also a memorial hanger with 2 pictures, a dark green paracord dongle and an Alta bottle opener similar to the one in the picture.
- White Utah skier license plates (E68FE)
- Black Mountain Smith Backpack similar to the one in the picture.
- A Black 2022 Sig 9 MM Pistol similar to the one in the picture.
- A Gerber Multitool with carrying case similar to the one in the picture.
